“Afterlife” was designed in collaboration with artist Alicia Piller as a tribute to artist Ana Mendieta.
Inspired by the baroque - all three multi-dimensional pieces utilize hand painted silk in order to evoke aspects of transformation. The translucent nature of the silk is designed to summon the ephemeral.
