RESURRECTING ISIS
A multimedia installation by Andrea Vargas and Patti Levey

Resurrecting Isis pays homage to an ancient story of origin and human development. 
Documentation of our installation exposed the multiple vantage points for viewing drawings and photographs through translucent silk tapestries.  Together we revisited the legacy of the Egyptian Goddess Isis and contrasted it to the contemporary legacy of violence inflicted by the terrorist group also known as ISIS.
