All of my drawings honor life. Compositionally, I use negative space to balance the weight of an isolated subject. In so doing, the focus becomes the energetic state, denoting the subject as present and yet agitated within the three-dimensional. I identify isolation as the precursor to awakening. Moreover, as the state of existence before re-convergence or reunification with the whole.
